The vinyl tubing comes in two sections that are each 6 feet long.

Does the filter have a build in pump? If not what size do I need?

This canister filter has a pump built into the top of them which is why that part is called the motorhead. It comes with everything you need to set it up and get it running.

Does this come with the hoses to hook up to the tank?

Model 360 does include the vinyl tubing (2 lengths).

Received broken

The small plastic locking mechanism of the water flow valves was broken before I even unpacked everything. Luckily I noticed it right away before everything else

The small plastic locking mechanism of the water flow valves was broken before I even unpacked everything. Luckily I noticed it right away before everything else was set up I called both chewy and the manufacturer. I am now waiting on a refund and in the meantime bought a new better staff recommended Fluvval filter at that fish place in Lancaster. Which has a 5 year warranty supposedly. Customer service was very nice from both companys. Just disappointed with receiving a broken product. Seems like a waste.

Set up was quick and easy. Most of the work came in measuring the tubes. Primed it no problem and it’s been purring for the three weeks. My 125 gallon tank is Crystal

Set up was quick and easy. Most of the work came in measuring the tubes. Primed it no problem and it’s been purring for the three weeks. My 125 gallon tank is Crystal clear, and the fish seem to be enjoying the Pristine water. Hopefully cleaning the filter will be just as easy.

Good, but do it right

I got a C360 with a 72 gallon tank I bought second hand. And it hadn't been running in at least a year. I'm guessing the tank and filter are probably close to 10

I got a C360 with a 72 gallon tank I bought second hand. And it hadn't been running in at least a year. I'm guessing the tank and filter are probably close to 10 years old, if not more. I had a slight leak the first time I tried it. I took it back apart and really really cleaned the seal areas, o-rings, etc. The previous owner had used cichlid calcium or something and there was crusties on everything. Including o-rings and where they seat. After detailing all that really well I fired it up again and it works perfectly and never leaked again. I do keep it inside of a little plastic tub, just in case. When I detach the hose assembly it does drip water, I'm not sure if I need to change o-rings up inside of it maybe, but I don't worry about it, I just let it drip into the tub while I clean the filter. All in all I think it's a fine filter, just watch some videos and read up on people's use of it so you know how to operate it just right.

I needed a extra filter for my 75 gallon tank. I had some issues getting it primed. But once I got it up and running, it works great. Good water pressure and easy

I like this canister filter. I have read the negative reviews and Yes sometimes after you clean it it takes a moment to get it going again, but it keeps her tank

I like this canister filter. I have read the negative reviews and Yes sometimes after you clean it it takes a moment to get it going again, but it keeps her tank clean. Customer service has always been great to me. Called once about clunking noise was propeller he shipped right out. Propeller broke again and they didnt have one available i just had to show them I cut cord and they sent me a whole new unit!
