Unfortunately, reviews and ratings can be very biased and deceiving (to either extremity) . . . rare as it is, the rating for this clamp, is unjust . . . this is

Unfortunately, reviews and ratings can be very biased and deceiving (to either extremity) . . . rare as it is, the rating for this clamp, is unjust . . . this is a good quality metal clamp, that I am thankful is sold individually, as the clamp that came with my grooming table was a straight up piece of plastic junk (that although it CLAIMED it could withstand up to 75 lbs, it literally broke in half while I was grooming one of my shih tzu under 15 lbs)! So if you also have a good quality grooming table but are in need of a clamp (and you have any common sense) measure both your table and arm, and order it, only if it fits! Measurements included in description!

After taking measurements of both my grooming table and arm to ensure this clamp would suffice, I immediately bought it, as the price was unbeatable for a solid metal clamp! I, much like another reviewer, had a cheap “hollow” plastic clamp that came with my grooming table, and it also broke after minimal usage in the midst of grooming one of my dogs. I was wary about purchasing a grooming table with a plastic clamp, but since it was supposed to hold up to 65 or 75 pounds, I thought it would work for my 2 shih tzu (in which are both around 14 pounds) yet that clamp proved me wrong! I am so happy that Chewy delivers swiftly, as both of my dogs are now starting to mat up due to my original clamp’s failure, and if you know anything about shih tzu, grooming them in a matted state is no fun at all!
