Can this overhead support be used with a grooming hammock that suspends the dog (27 lbs) above the grooming table?

This Overhead Grooming Arm is designed to be used with two grooming leads to help support the standing animal, we recommend using grooming loops and supports. A suspended hammock is not suggested.

What is the maximum thickness will the clamp fit?

Is the bar strong enough to hold a dangling, harnessed 25# Frenchie while getting a manicure?

This item will not support a dog dangling by its own weight of 25 pounds. We do not recommend attaching a dog to anything that they can not be positioned with at least 2 paws on the surface.

Dog grooming is easier with this Overhead Dog grooming Arm

Versatile Grooming Arm

The arm seems solid enough for big dogs that are used to being on grooming table but as with any grooming arm supervision is a must. I set up arm on a 36" table

The arm seems solid enough for big dogs that are used to being on grooming table but as with any grooming arm supervision is a must. I set up arm on a 36" table and easily transfer to a 42" table when needed. Keeps dogs in place and from sitting while grooming verses standard grooming arm. The extra eyehooks on vertical bars make it easy to hang tools (i.e. trimmer, nail grinder, grooming bag ..).

Overhead Grooming Arm works well

This arm fits a 48" long table I repurposed for grooming our 42 lb. goldendoodle that is 33" tall (top of head). Plenty of clearance to top bar. Assembly was simple

This arm fits a 48" long table I repurposed for grooming our 42 lb. goldendoodle that is 33" tall (top of head). Plenty of clearance to top bar. Assembly was simple - follow instructions sheet. Heavy duty clamps secure to ends of table (1-3/4"thick). Much better than the single crook-arm style I tried first. This one easily supports the belly strap I made and keeps her centered on the table. Excellent value - Would buy again.

I had to wait a month to order this item, because Chewy was out. No big deal. The FedEx shipping was really weird, but the grooming arm finally arrived. I am a longtime

I had to wait a month to order this item, because Chewy was out. No big deal. The FedEx shipping was really weird, but the grooming arm finally arrived. I am a longtime Borzoi breeder. My dogs range between 60 and 100 pounds and 28" to 32" tall. This grooming arm is large enough and is working really well in steadying my dogs when I'm brushing their pants (feathering) out and when doing toenails. My dogs tend to want to sit, and this helps to keep them on their feet. It comes with two nooses. I added an extra noose to the front and an extension to the flank loop for my shorter dogs. My table is 48" long. The arm fits it perfectly. The clamps are strong and hold well. I have been using it for over month now and am very pleased with it.

Grooming Bar

I just set this up to use to do my frenchies dogs nails and groom my standard poodle and found that the top of both arms where the screw bolts are located were screwed

I just set this up to use to do my frenchies dogs nails and groom my standard poodle and found that the top of both arms where the screw bolts are located were screwed on so tight that it bent in the top of the bar so the bar that inserts in the middle will not slide in. Totally unusable
