Grasp the stripping knife with the blade facing toward you. Hold the knife against the coat with the teeth angled downward (approximately 45 degrees). Take hair between your thumb and the knife, and pull in the direction of the coat. Keep your wrist straight to avoid cutting rather than plucking the coat.
Coarse, Fine, and Medium size stripping knives each measure 6¾ inches; Detailing stripping knife measures 5⅝ inches.

Small , but handy tool

Nice tool but way smaller than I expected. Next time I would definitely do a late one for my girl. This might come in handy someday but I may never use it. I wouldn't recommend it for most animals.
