This is by far the best tool I've used for detangling my dogs coat. Often brushes/rakes are made with the bristles being attached to the brushes. Thus bristles fall off after repeat use. This tool is a solid piece that is NOT going to fall apart after regular use.

One little stroke down the fur and the rake is full you takes so long to get the fur out of the rake and that's all you do is continually remove the fur you yeah

This brush does seem very sturdy and well made. However it just isn’t suitable for small pets. I bought one to remove my cat’s undercoat and the teeth on the brush

I bought one to remove my cat’s undercoat and the teeth on the brush are way too far apart to get any hair off her. This is not made for small pet or short/hair pets. I would say more suited to large long haired dogs to remove tangles not undercoats.
