One of our dogs has a really thick coat with long feathers and tail feathers. Other brands of undercoat rake offend him (must be sharper?) but this one is easy for him to tolerate. I recommend this specific brand to dog training clients who ask for help with prolific sheddiing. It specifically targets dead undercoat fur and helps keep dogs clean smelling in between baths.

I have Old English sheepdogs. I do a LOT of brushing and we go through a lot of brushes. I never write reviews but I was so impressed with this long pin rake I wanted to share. I like that it is metal and not plastic. The plastic handles always break on me. This went smoothly through their fur, got down to the undercoat and worked as well as more expensive brushes. I am very happy with this brush. Would work great for long hair dogs like doodles. Happy Brushing!
