Mau Cento 46-in Modern Wooden Cat Tree & Condo, White

Both the kitty and I are happy with the cento. Because I only have one cat and he doesn’t seem to have interest in the bottom “cave”, I may have opted for the uni instead. However, I’m happy enough with it not to bother with an exchange. He enjoys scratching the sisal covered “trunks” and it keeps him from scratching my furniture. Bonus: the design brings warmth and texture into my apartment, which I love. You feel cozy just looking at it.

Let's start by saying this cat tree is incredibly cute. I have received many compliments over the years regarding it! Pro's: It's certainly cuter and more appealing to the eye than normal/original ones. My cats use it all the time, but admittedly not so much the den - my 2yr old enjoys the den more than the cats lol. The fur material has held up well, no complaints there. The base is heavy and sturdy. Cons: I *do not* think this cat tree is worth the price of $300. Both of the wooden poles have gotten loose.. real loose.. many times, the thread was stripped for the female screw part, so it wasn't really fully conntected with the wood. To fix it we removed it, put glue in the hole, and hammered it back in.. it was no longer loose at that point. The little fuzzy balls did not last long either, they haven't been on the tree for years. Parts of the baskets are frayed, and my cats don't really like to claw at it much.. but it's not a whole lot to comprise it being esthetically pleasing.. but if you have cats that will claw the baskets i don't forsee them lasting for this long. Overall, i do not regret buying the cat tree.

I looked for a long time for a cat tower that would be sturdy enough for our cats and not a huge eyesore. This piece meets both of those needs. Both of our cats began using it the very first day. Highly recommend!
