I bought this for my very finicky cat’s twelfth birthday, hoping against hope that he’d actually use it but expecting that he’d ignore it like the other cat beds
I bought this for my very finicky cat’s twelfth birthday, hoping against hope that he’d actually use it but expecting that he’d ignore it like the other cat beds I’ve tried. I keep his toys in a broad, low-brimmed basket, and he often sleeps in it, toys and all. He’s a big boy (Maine Coon) and doesn’t fit in the basket at all. I was able to contour this bed to approximate the depth of the basket, put a few of his toys in it, and much to my surprise he actually sleeps in it! This bed is pricey, but it’s well-made and can be made into an infinite variety of shapes to suit whatever your cat prefers. I was surprised by how heavy and sturdy it is! Well worth the extra $$. (The photo shows the bed next to the toy basket.)
