How long will this last for a 30 lb dog?

Answer by ChewyMay 07, 2018
This bottle of Oil would last a 30 pound dog approximately 30-60 days since the recommended dosage for a 25-50 pound dog is 1-2 teaspoons and there are approximately 60 teaspoons in this 10 ounce bottle of Oil.

How much should I feed my 74 pound dog, the feeding instructions kinda confuse me

Answer by ChewyFeb 22, 2021
The feeding chart may be located by clicking the “Feeding Instructions” tab, on the product page. For a pet weighing over 50 pounds, administer 2 - 4 teaspoons daily. Each pump is equivalent to 1/2 teaspoon.

after being opened how long does it stay good for?

Answer by ChewySep 30, 2020
Providing maxxiomega oil is stored in the recommended conditions, it will stay good until the Best Before date, which is printed on the bottom of the bottle. The Best Before date is 2 years from manufacturing. Maxxiomega can be stored at room temperature. However, it should be kept out of direct sunlight and excessive heat. It is not strictly necessary to keep it in the refrigerator after opening, but it is recommended doing so as this is the best way to ensure these conditions are met particularly in warmer climates.

Does this go in the dogs food? Or rub on his skin?

Answer by ChewyMay 29, 2019

Excellent supplement for our 12-year old

We loved the product that we bought this for our 12-year-old border collie who loved it. His fur was much more shiny.

I’ve been using Maxxiomega Oil as a supplement for years with my dachshunds due to dry skin and dull coats. I feed highly rated food... A friend that has a rescue recommended it and have to say there isn’t a dachshund around with a healthier or more beautiful coat. Their skin is great and no itching. Easy to use and they love it.

Seems to be helping an itchy dog

My 10 year old Aussie is allergic to all sorts of things, so I decided that I would go about helping him with a supplemental oil. I noticed a difference pretty much right away. Not a cure all, but helpful. I only gave it 4 stars because it's pricey. Might be smarter to just buy some good cold pressed oil from a natural foods store. Will see how I feel when I have used it a while longer.

Your dogs will love this

Easy to use and all three of my dogs had no issues with it. They didn't hesitate to eat their food with Omega Oil on the food!

Big difference

My dog has discoid lupus. His nose looked terrible, and after seeing a very expensive dermatology vet and a dose of steroids we were worried he'd never have a healthy looking nose. After one week of using this oil his nose became smooth and no scabbing. Now he's been using this oil for almost a year without relapse of his skin condition. I am now putting this in my Labs food too for dandruff control. I love this stuff!

Its okay...

My dogs don't like it as much as they like plain coconut oil but it still does the trick. Too soon to tell if it makes a difference with their coats.
