Proper Protein for DOMESTIC gamebirds (quail, etc)

By ThisisSyzygy on Nov 16, 2021

The other reviews on here are ridiculous. It’s not their fault you tried to feed domestic game bird food to wild birds, which is not what the product is intended for. Also not their fault your delivery person leaves it by the gate. I’ve never had mold in my feed. My domestic gamebirds (quail, chickens, etc) love this food. This is one of the few foods available that has the right protein content for Button Quails. (30%)

Great Feed For Quail & Partridges!

    By AP1012 on Dec 11, 2021

I raise exotic quail and partridges and they love this feed! It's also extruded pellets with practically no dust versus crumbles. I wish it came in 50 pound bags though!

    NOT for Wild Birds!!!

By greenjelloland on Jun 25, 2021

If your bird is a captive audience in a cage, then this food might be eaten. If they're wild birds, they will completely ignore this food.

My quail LOVE IT - 30% protein!

By JennaRN on Sep 8, 2020

I got this because the quail expert online recommended a higher protein feed for my quail (more than 24%) and because of it, my quail are no longer picking and eating their feathers! The feed is smaller grain, so they like it and would also be great for chicks!
