Wrong Size 3 Bags Is Extruded Larger Like Maintenance and Breeder

The pellet is the wrong size and is way too big. Had to grind up for day old plus quail. Chewy replaced one bag and the bag received was correct. Month later

What I really like most about this feed is the fact that rather than it being a pellet crumble, it consists of really small pelletized balls. This greatly reduces the waste you get with standard feed crumbles. Generally with crumbles, you have the powder left over after the feed has been picked through. This gamebird feed gets consumed entirely. The standard main grain ingredients are the same as other 30% protein starter feeds but a few specified animal proteins follow behind those. No doubt the feed is quality but the price tag is awfully high for just 25 lbs. of feed. You're paying a price that would typically get you twice the amount of other quality feed brands like Blue Bonnet or Purina. If you're raising just a select few birds I would recommend this product. For large scale operations, I would not.

Great packaging!

Nice and small for the quail. Put these in the food processor with the Black soldier fly grub and pulverized them together. Mixed with water to form a wet mash

Outstanding product for my mountain and Mearns quail

This feed has the high level of protein required for more exotic quail. It is waste free, so there is no dust. Feed this as a starter as well as an adult feed

This feed has the high level of protein required for more exotic quail. It is waste free, so there is no dust. Feed this as a starter as well as an adult feed for these type of quail. I mix it with Kaytee Dove feed and they love it.
