First of all this is a great product. It's rugged and durable. It has great battery life. Unlike other collars this doesn't require a subscription. Now to the info you may want to know. The device is integrated into a rubber collar which adds to it's disability. It's very easy to set up. You find a place that you want as your center point. Set that point. Then select the radius you want away from that point. That's it for setting it up. Next comes training your dog. There are plenty of videos on YouTube of how to do this, so I won't explain how to do the training. But it is very important that you do it or else your dog will be confused and this collar won't work. The last bit of information you need to know is how this collar works. They have built in some safeguards so the collar doesn't give false corrective actions (shocks). All 3 of these requirements need to be met for it to correct your dog. 1. It needs good gps signal (3 satellites or more, which is easy outside). 2. The dogs location needs to be outside of the radius you set. 3. It needs to be moving. (it must have a built in motion sensor?) They say the dog shouldn't wear it while inside, but in theory being inside would cause it to not have signal and therefore not have any false corrections. Over all, very good product that saves me a lot of subscription fees others collars charge.
