This is not a favorite overall primarily because of the overpowering scent. It appears white but blends out smoothly and then rises away well. It is not really thick like shea butter or coconut butter base conditioners. The issue I found is simply the scent. Rose is not my favorite scent to that is probably where my aversion comes from. It is very strong. I cannot smell anything else. And the scent stays on fur and skin even after bath time is long over. I am sure some will find it pleasant. It is just too strong for me. I did not notice any kind of reaction. Just a personal preference.

This puppy conditioner smells so lovely. However, im not sure how effective it actually is in conditioning dog fur. I have a beagle mix who has not necessarily long hair, but its definitely not short. Hes very poofy. I used this on him today during his bath, and yes it smells sooo good and he smells nice, fresh, and clean, but his hair doesnt feel any different. It seemed like it all just rinsed right out easily (a plus) but there was no remaining moisturizing effect.
