Nice lather

I really like the smell of this product in the bottle. The pump was nice and made it easy to use. I was unable to get any pictures during the bath, my dog requires

I really like the smell of this product in the bottle. The pump was nice and made it easy to use. I was unable to get any pictures during the bath, my dog requires more of a two-handed wash approach, which didn't allow me to take any pictures! He didn't seem to mind the soap. It foamed up really nice. It left him smelling okay, but the bergamot is very strong. I was a little leery of using lavender, as it can bother some animals and can be toxic according to my vet, but it didn't seem to bother him at all. I'm assuming since it was in small quantities, that it wouldn't really cause any issues unless your dog had an allergy. I did not notice any relaxing effects. However, my dog has been diagnosed with dementia in the last few weeks, and tends to be a little on the nervous side anyway. He did run around and do a happy dance after he was washed. So his skin must have felt nice. It's been a few days, and I haven't noticed any lessening in his regular itchiness, nor have i noticed ab increase in itchiness either. Due to his health issues, that's not surprising. Overall, I like the product. We will continue to use it.

Easy to wash out but smell doesn’t last

This shampoo smelled nice when I used it on Lark (an 80lb boxer hound mix). It was pretty easy to wash out as well. It did suggest washing the dog twice for best

This shampoo smelled nice when I used it on Lark (an 80lb boxer hound mix). It was pretty easy to wash out as well. It did suggest washing the dog twice for best results, but Lark hates the water as it is and I hate to make the experience any longer than it needs to be so I only washed her once. The calming elements of the shampoo did not kick in while she was in the tub! Her white fur was once again white, although I don’t think the lovely smell was detectable after she was fully dry. All in all it was a good product, but I like when the nice smell sticks around for a little bit.

The Melanie Newman Salon Essentials Relax Dog Shampoo is luxury in a bottle! I've tried several dog shampoos over the years and this one is by far the best. I already went ahead and purchased the the rest of the Relax collection. The shampoo suds up beautifully and smells like a high-end spa. My papillon's fur was left luxuriously soft, smooth, shiny, vibrant and clean. As a dog mom, I always look for products like this one that are free of harsh synthetic chemicals. The Lavender, Geranium and Bergamot oils are great for a dog's coat and give them a luxury spa day when it comes to bathtime. I highly recommend this shampoo and the entire line of Melanie Newman Salon Essentials products!

The Melanie Newman dog shampoo did the job. I used the relax shampoo on my 8 year old black Lab. Did it relax her? Probably not, but it did a wonderful job on making her smell and look wonderful. Willow hadn’t had a bath in quite awhile so we knew this shampoo had its work cut out for it. This shampoo smells wonderful. It’s not over powering just a subtle hint of Lavender Geranium and Bergamot. It also made willows fur so shiny.

Shampoo lathers wonderfully without having to use a lot of product. The scent is very strong and i would not consider the lavender to be relaxing. It almost smells

Shampoo lathers wonderfully without having to use a lot of product. The scent is very strong and i would not consider the lavender to be relaxing. It almost smells more like Eucalyptus which is nice but very strong and I wbigcaught off guard since it was not supposed to be a strong scent. It did its job to get my pets clean and soft again though.
