Instructions
Meloxicam Oral Suspension is packaged with 2 sizes of dosing syringes. The small syringe is calibrated in 1-lb increments for use in dogs under 30 lbs. The large syringe is calibrated in 5-lb increments (up to 160 lbs.) and should be used for dosing dogs that are 30 lbs and over. Only administer Meloxicam with the provided syringes. The container should never be used as a dropper bottle for administration of Meloxicam.
Dogs under 30 lbs (13.6 kg) Shake well before use, then remove cap. Meloxicam Oral Suspension can be given either mixed with food or placed directly into the mouth. Particular care should be given with regard to the accuracy of dosing. To prevent accidental overdosing of small dogs, only use the small dosing syringe. The large syringe provided should not be used to measure doses for dogs weighing less than 30 lbs (13.6 kg). For dogs under 30 lbs, use the small dosing syringe provided in the package. The small dosing syringe fits onto the bottle and has dosing marks in 1-lb increments, designed to deliver the daily maintenance dose of 0.045 mg/lb (0.1 mg/kg). For dogs between 1 - 29 lbs, Meloxicam can be given using the marks on the small dosing syringe. When using the small dosing syringe, the dog’s weight should be rounded down to the nearest 1-lb increment. Replace and tighten cap after use.

Store at controlled room temperatures between 68° - 77°F.

After noticing our 9 yr old Jack Russel was beginning to have discomfort in his hips when transitioning from a seated postion to standing, our vet prescribed Metacam. Surprisingly, he quickly began accepting the oral suspension very easily and we started noticing huge improvement after the first week(ish). The name brand-Metacam is a little pricey so I started looking for generic versions as the refill date approached and Meloxicam has worked just as well. Im so thankful for his discomfort to be gone!!

My vet suggested we try off-label (for a cat) Meloxicam for him and it was a total game changer. 2 drops with his Breakast and he’s now able to jump up on our bed and groom himself better. Helps for my Senior Bun
We were prescribed this for my senior Bunny Pete from his vet to help with his arthritis pain. Our vet recommended ordering it through chewy. It's MUCH cheaper
We were prescribed this for my senior Bunny Pete from his vet to help with his arthritis pain. Our vet recommended ordering it through chewy. It's MUCH cheaper and is so convenient with the autistic and discount that comes with it so I don't forget to order when he's getting low. He Initially didn't like taking it from the syringe- but I don't recommend mixing or drizzling it on food. He wasn't getting his full dose and you could tell he was in pain. I think once he realized it was helping, he was a lot more willing to take it via syringe. Highly recommend.

They use FedEx and they are such a great carrier here in our city. We also order insulin and it has to stay cold. Almost an impossible task in Arizona, but they take their customers orders very seriously. Our insulin comes in a custom made styrofoam cooler with 5-6 freezer packs and when it gets here (about 30 hours) it has hardly started melting!!! Thank you Chewy! You take some off some of the sting that comes with have a needy pets
