Are the confetti slip leads reflective?

Confetti Colors do not have reflective yarn in them.

Some Mendota leashes use single braid rope (my preference), and some use double braid which is less durable, more slippery when wet, slightly narrower, and easily kinks. Which colors are single braid?

Their Confetti Rope leads are made with Multi-Filament Polypropylene as with the rest of their leads. The Confetti series has a braided core and then a fine tightly braided shell/cover over the braided core. This is for a smooth comfort to the hands.

Does this leash go around the dog’s snout to prevent from pulling?

This slip leash is not intended to go around the snout but around the neck.

Does the collar get tight if they pull or does it slip off easy? I have an older border collie mix and trying to decide if this would be better for her or a retractable one.

I've used slip leads for 20 years and had others at this width, but the rope seemed really thin and cheap. Not sure how to describe it, but the rope just didn't

I've used slip leads for 20 years and had others at this width, but the rope seemed really thin and cheap. Not sure how to describe it, but the rope just didn't feel as dense or rounded as other slip leads that I've owned in the past. I've got a dog who can easily startle and pull strongly in response, and I worried she might hurt herself with this one. This is getting tossed into the car as an emergency backup, and I've already ordered another brand from a different site as there are not many brand options here.

The strength of this leash is terrific.

Sofie is a large German Shepherd whom this leash works well on. She has not tried to chew it at all.

This lead works great for our new dog that is basically a "street dog" that we rescued. I've tried many collars and leashes on him only to have him fight me every time putting it on and taking it off. There's just something about things going over his head that he hates, probably from the past experiences of people trying to catch him! He's a Rat Terrier and he's quite fast! Anyway this leash I saw on The Dog Whisperer and it's been great! Well worth the money paid! If there's anything that I would wish improved it would be made from a little softer rope, but I'm sure it will get softer the more it is used. Best thing is that I can make the loop large and slip it nicely over Eli's head without it bothering him .
