Will this leash work for a Yorkie

This dog lead is not suitable for small breed dogs. The Mendota Products Striped Small Slip Dog Lead is recommended for dogs 50-pounds and under.

I have a black and tan pup. She is 19lbs right now. Would the small slip leash be the right size for a few months.

This leash saves my hands

I walk my (voice-trained) dog off leash, and on the rare occasions when he must make the appearance of being leashed, I can just slip this over his head and off

I walk my (voice-trained) dog off leash, and on the rare occasions when he must make the appearance of being leashed, I can just slip this over his head and off without fumbling for his collar or messing with a small, stubborn clip. Great lifestyle improvement.
