Bought this for my new puppy. Received item not as described. The rope is the cheap plastic kind and im not even sure they use leather or a decent quality faux leather. The rope is extremely thin would not suggest using on larger dogs. You’re better off going to a home improvement store buying some good cotton rope, an o ring and then ordering some actual leather and making it yourself for less. Personally considering refunding this and getting my money back.
Pretty nice slip lead

I think it is a pretty nice lead. My dog is 100lbs it holds him no problem but I wish the rope diameter was larger. The 1/2' rope can hurt you hands on a hard pull. The rope is also a more fragile then I'd like it to be, it frays on rough surfaces way too easy. If you take a lighter to it the rope fuzz melts back into itself.
Would definitely recommend!

Love it, even better than pictured. 6ft was the perfect length for my 35 lb. frenchie who loves to pull. The 4ft leash would work well for larger/taller breeds. Really strong, good quality leash.
Soft but strong

Very Nice Lead

I love the ease and convenience of this slip lead. The rope itself is the slightest bit stretchy, which is not my preference, but the quality and excellent design more than make up for it.
Great for difficult dog

Wish I had known about these sooner. I have a dog with some major anxiety issues and this leash has made getting her outdoors and on walks so much easier - seriously, less pulling from her and she is training much better with this leash. I can hold the leash with a few fingers most of the time and our walks are much longer. I bought the larger size, as I wasn't sure if the smaller one would be strong enough, but this is more than enough. Should last the rest of her natural life without replacement. After 2 weeks of using this leash, she just looks at it, has the tail flying, and paces by the front door to go out front.

Looks exactly what I was looking for. I won't use it until Spring when I start Molly with FastCat again.

If you are looking for a slip lead, this Mendota product is excellent quality, at a great price. Durable will not stretch out or break. I can engage my dog in tug without harm to the lead. The lead is easy on my hands. The Chewy pricing varies not by length to more to do with color/length...maybe the slower sellers...no clue. So shop it out if looking for lower price over a specific color or length.
I love Chewy

large slip camouflage lead

I used the slip lead for a large visiting lab and it worked very
easy and well for him, of course he was an advanced trained service dog and he is trained not to pull only to walk on a loose lead never pulling. Our yard is only partly fenced so I walked him to the fenced in area with the slip lead worked great for me
