How much sodium is in a serving, and what is considered a serving?

Merrick do not add any salt to their Merrick Bone Broth and do not test for salt. Any salt that is in the broth is naturally occurring. The serving size depends on the size of the dog. It is recommended 1/2 of a cup per 10 pounds of body weight, so it is dependent on the size of the dog.
Where are the ingredients made

Merrick crafts their recipes with the world's best ingredients from the best producers. Most of their ingredients come from the USA, however, in certain circumstances some ingredients may come from another country (like lamb from New Zealand) to ensure the highest quality possible. Each and every ingredient must meet Merrick’s own rigorous quality standards. Ingredients are tested upon arrival, samples are tested throughout production, and all pet food is tested before its released for sale.

She turned her head away

I have a very picky dog and almost everything I have tried I kind of gave up on so I decided to try broth to see if she would turn to this and she turned her head away however the dry toppers which I’ll give a review on next she had them once and now she sees me crushing it on top of her food she only wants to eat the topper that’s a whole different issue in a whole different topic however these are a no go for us and completely wasted

Highly recommend

Since I adopted my dogs I've introduced them to wet food. They can't eat dry kibble without it, but it gets pricey. I feed them two 3 oz a day, half in the morning, half at night. This helps reduce the cost and need for a lot of wet food. (I feed them a higher quality brand) they love this!

Puppy wasn’t a fan

My puppy hated it. Bought it to try to moisten her food when she’s teething and wasn’t eating. She sniffed it, walked away. Threw the container out, glad I only bought the small one.

Merrick Bone Broth

I've yet to try the beef, but the chicken is working great. I have a chihuahua & a chi-pin (chihuahua/min pin). The chihuahua is a finicky eater & the chi-pin eats everything in site, like she's not satisfied. They both are eating normal now & come running at the sound of the bag being opened. Thank you Merrick & thank you Chewy.

Old Dog Acts Young!!

The friend of a friend suggested we give our old boy bone broth as a way of alleviating age-related aches and pains. I researched it, and chose bone broth made especially for pets, as opposed to human-grade that always has added salt. OMG! Within DAYS, old boy was jumping up on the couch, running through the yard and house to play with Daddy...SERIOUSLY! We simply add a squirt to his dry food at each meal. His behavior has changed so much!

Loves this!

My 10.5 pound Jack-a-poo loves this broth and the turkey broth as well! She cant wait to get her mouth on this! We tried others, even the Pristine which is the same company and she can't be bother.

So hard to open

The broth is great, but trying to open the bag is almost impossible. Why they chose to use this type of a package with this plastic knob that is so hard to open I will never understand I have had to cut the package a couple of times to get it open.

chicken bone broth

I have a chihuahua/miniature pinscher and she loves this broth, I heat up about a teaspoon in the microwave it only takes a few seconds, then I mix it with her food and she eats it all, I recommend giving this broth a try.

Wonderful type of bone broth

Zeno is a fussy eater but with that broth he eats as if I’ve never fed him.
