My dog love this food. I love the smaller pieces . I feel this is a healthy choose for my dog with out all additives and without high price.

Great product and great price
I absolutely love ordering from Chewy and will continue to do so. I can purchase this particular brand of dog food cheaper and for more convenient than at my local pet (mart). The shipping was lightning quick as I received my purchase the very next day! Way to go Chewy! You've earned a life-long customer.
Upset dog’s stomach
I was really excited to try this food. I was happy to see there were a ton of the freeze dried bits. I gradually added this new food to my dog’s old dry food. My dog seemed to love it right away but he isn’t a very picky eater. After only a few days, my pup had horrible diarrhea which lasted multiple days. I immediately took him off the food. After a few sleepless nights and a vet trip later, I now have a giant, expensive bag of food that I can’t feed him. I would definitely not buy this again.
Picky eater!
I recently adopted a 10+ year old Tea Cup Poodle who is a very picky eater. I can't seem to find a food that she will eat. She picks at Merrick Lil' Plates, mostly just picks out the freeze dried morsels. She only weighs 5 pounds so I don't want to mess around for too long to find something she'll eat. Any suggestions?
Not as good as it used to be
My dogs love this kibble--it's hard to find one they will eat--especially the freeze dried bits but in the last bag I bought, trying to find the freeze dried bits was like searching for a needle in a haystack. I think the quality has gone down and will not buy it anymore. On a side note, the canned Wingaling dog food by Merrick was a total hit with my dogs--especially the whole wings and drumsticks in the can. However, last time I bought the food it was spoiled--the cubed meat was gray and disgusting. And now that food isn't even to be found anymore. I'm wondering what's going on over at Merrick.
Great food
We were given this by accident instead of the regular non raw. However my maltipoo loves it. He’s super picky but this he tears up as soon as I set it down. So I guess we are buying this from Now on! Lol
Seems great!
This was a quick switch because Merrick stopped selling the chickpea and salmon. She loved it and I loved it more because it was more on the vegetarian side. She tolerates this because I add the wet tuna and turkey as a topper. She loves fish, other than that she isn't much of a meat eater. I know she'd prefer to be back on her other brand but I am not sure Merrick will ever restock. If your pup/small breed loves beef, I would say give it a try. The smell is nice, kibbles are a great size and I do like the added raw and antibiotics! I am going to try her on Halo but would like to eventually try her on Wild Earth because I do prefer her on more of a veggie diet because I can see the difference in her stools and skin. A week after being on this particular brand her skin started to shed more. Yes, it already does because she's a long haired chi but it was shedding a lot. I have started giving her omega 321 tabs which have great benefits.
This was a big NO!
He used to eat this occasionally, but something has changed, so this was a snort and a sneeze away from OMG, mom!
