My cat has diabetes. I’m trying to avoid prescription diets and give her a more healthy food. I have her on the Merrick beef pate and turkey pate. Any other recommendations would be much appreciated Thanks CandIce cottle

Is this ok for feeding to dogs?

This formula is intended to be fed to cats only. Cat food aren't properly balanced for them in terms of fiber and protein and certain nutrients.

Something off

So I am currently trying to find different cat food as this has changed since COVID it seems.My cats won't touch it and the one that does often will vomit it up.So now I have a few dozen cans I am not sure if I should even donate them.Used to auto ship it.For now sticking with beef and chicken.

Truly awful, looked & smelled as if spoiled

I usually get the Turkey flavor which is great, every bowl gobbled up, but it was out of stock so I got Salmon since my cat usually loved that flavor too. When I opened it the stench was terrible & it looked just as bad, as if it were spoiled, plus it had these little white worm looking things in it. I wasn't about to feed it to my cat but I put a tiny bit down just to see what he would do, he sniffed it & quickly backed away from it. I would not recommend the salmon variety at all, if you buy this brand go for the Turkey.

  • Would you eat this? If you say no then don't feed it to your cat either.

It's fish!

This salmon recipe goes over very big with the cat as it is fish. It smells like fish and most generously tastes like fish.

Successful Switch

Switched my cats (3, 1) from Essence Ocean & Freshwater to this due to availability issues. It seems so far to be a hit for them and the higher quality ingredients make it a win for me.

A little disappointed

I prefer a pate to have a firmer consistency. This one is a little too loose for my liking. Also for my cats as well.

Good for cat allergies but very overpriced now.

When this cat food became unavailable, I had to find another without any poultry. My cat didn't do as well on the other, so I was happy to see this back on the market. However, the price is now unaffordable as much cat food has become. If your cat has food allergies, it's a nightmare.

I like it and my fussy cat will eat it.

My little girl has IBD. I love the texture, it’s kinda creamy and best of all she eats it. I switch from instinct limited ingredients after they changed their product.
