I keep thinking I am ordering food for two cats and then accidentally buying tiny cans. Highlighting the size somehow or making the pictures more accurate would be great. Cat food is great though.
Excellent product. My rescue cat had extreme diarrhea for several months but I patiently gave this food and a few others like it. She is totally healthy and normal now, I thank you and my cat Emma thanks you.
My cat will not eat this food. I keep trying with no luck. Unfortunately I ordered 3 cases of this brand (turkey, chicken, and duck) and wasted a lot of money! I wish I could return it all!!
I really wanted my two cats to like this, since I like the ingredients. One will pick at it and leave most of it behind. The other cat won't eat it at all.Bummer.
Cooper eats mostly homemade raw food, but this food is used to mix in the herbal supplements he takes for a heart condition. He loves it, and licks his plate clean! I like it because it is limited ingredient without a lot of added stuff he doesn't need
This Merrick product might not be the highest end stuff but is superior to most cat food - nutrition, devoid of undesirable additives - and is a little more reasonably priced than many high-end canned foods. I give my cats a variety of the best I can afford..they particularly liked this one.
One of my cats has a severe grain allergy and after she developed symptoms, I sent the food out to a lab in my state and it tested positive for wheat contamination. So much for limited ingredients
Got this for my cat with IBD and it seems to be tolerated much better by her than regular wet food. She loves the food, however, had problems with the 5.5 oz cans being extremely dented when received. Took 3 returns and requests for inspection of cans before sending before resolved. The smaller 2.75 oz cans don't have the same issue. Customer service at Chewy was wonderful with responding to my problem with the larger cans, hope I don't have the same issue next time.
We adopted Buddy this past February and the only wet food he would eat was fish. Even then, there were only a few varieties of that he would eat and keep down. I wanted him to eat a wet food, but didn't want it to be fish for any length of time so we decided to try this one. I had picked up a large can at the local pet store to test it and while he ate the first serving, he would not eat the "leftover" one. I ordered the smaller cans and now he loves having a fresh can for each meal. He is doing quite well with it too so that makes it a winner for our Buddy! We are all happy now.
The small cans are not the same as the large. It smells better my cat only eats if it’s a big can. So in a nut shell, the new Merrick products are not the same as the old Merrick.
