What is exactly is chicken and turkey meal?

Animal meal is made up of chicken that has been ground and cooked, reducing the fat content to create a protein-rich ingredient. Some organs are included in this process to make sure your pet receives all the complete nutrients that are missing from muscle tissue. It’s high in protein and amino acids to help strengthen and maintain your pet’s muscles. It’s also a high-quality source of glucosamine for joint health. Chicken and Turkey meal does not include feathers, heads, feet or entrails.
I feed both my dogs Merrick GFree, Chicken & Sweet potato. I would like to give them variety of flavors Merrick offers w the same Gfree sweet potato ingredients. Do I still need to slowly intro each flavor as when I swapped them from a different brand of food ?

It's easy to rotate between each of Merrick flavors without a transition period, unless your pet has certain protein sensitivities.
What types of oils are in your products? I won't use soybean, canola, cottonseed for myself and prefer not to use for my Saint Bernard.

All of Merrick foods are produced and manufactured in the United States. Most of their dry and wet recipes are crafted with in one of their three facilities in Hereford, Texas. Their manufacturing facilities in Hereford are Safe Quality Food (SQF) Level 3 certified. This means they have successfully completed a stringent food safety auditing process and verified that their facilities are in compliance with Certified HACCP (Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Points) food safety plans and quality management systems.
