Can't recommend this
By writerchickCT on Jul 3, 2022
Pros: 1) Sturdy. 2) Nice materials and finishes. Cons: 1) Heavy (13.5 lbs, but feels heavier). And this, combined with the large size, makes it cumbersome to move around -- banging shins, banging walls, etc. 3) Black rubber wheels marred my light wood floors. 4) Carpeted sections are actually somewhat slippery: my senior cat with weak hind legs couldn't get traction and slid off it as a result, poor guy. 5) Angle settings are weird: there are two notches relatively close together at a gentle angle, then one notch at a sleep angle. Why didn't they evenly space the notches? ... If you are a dog owner and your dog is close to the maximum allowed weight of 50 pounds, the pros might outweigh the Pros: 1) Sturdy. 2) Nice materials and finishes. The Ramp Serves its Purpose
By Cari on Jun 30, 2022
I have a Frenchie whose back gives him issues from time to time. To prevent further problems, I decided to purchase a ramp vs stairs. This ramp is sturdy and well built (for the most part). I am confident and feel secure that my dog will not fall from it. However, I share the same complaint as other reviewers: the carpet on the ramp. If your dog has soft, silky paws they run a higher risk of sliding. My dog’s paws are in between soft and rough as he does spend time outside on pavement. Still, I feared him sliding and becoming afraid of the ramp. To avoid this I glued grip tape on the carpet—problem solved. My last issue/recommendation, I have tiled floors and the ramp can move rather easily ( I have a Frenchie whose back gives him issues from time to time. My last issue/recommendation, I have tiled floors and the ramp can move rather easily (i.e. my dog has zoomies and decides to go full force up and down the ramp). The grip to the floor, I believe is not meant for tiles. If you have carpet or a rug underneath the ramp, it will solve the problem 100%. I temporarily resorted to applying Velcro to my floor and the ramp as I figure out a long term solution. Other than that, great ramp for the price. … more

Ramp for Mini Dachshund
By DaisyDoo on Jul 17, 2022
The ramp is honestly great for what we need it for, however the wheels make it easy for it to come away from our couch/chair/bed. The ramp has grips at the bottom to stop it from moving but mine was faulty and the grips were ruined and not properly secured. To be honest, I would buy this again if I needed to, but I’m waiting for a different ramp to be in stock.

Carpet padding should face the other way
By DTM1 on Jun 13, 2022
Bought for my senior dog who has a hard time getting on/ off our bed and received this about a week ago. So far it seems to be built well but the carpet is facing the wrong way( vertical) to give any grip. My dog is still having a hard time using this product as I have to have it on the highest it will go. I will probably have to remove the padding and replace with another facing the correct way( horizontal) so that he can have that extra little bit of grip

perfect perfect perfect
By MHen on Jun 17, 2022
I got this for my senior cat to help her get on and off the bed and she loves it. She comes and goes from the bed more than ever, likely due to the ease of it. I bought a set of steps first but she did not like, as she has depth perception issues jumping onto things. No issue with this and definitely worth it for the price!

HOF Online Purchase
By RickJames on Mar 3, 2022
I looked all over the place online for a high quality ramp for my bassador to get on the couch and it exceeded my expectations. The wood is solid and sturdy, the ramp itself is sleek/fits in with living room decor, and it only took my dog a few days to master the ramp. I shop online quite a bit and this is definitely a top 10 all time purchase and on my HOF. No idea why there are negative reviews. Well worth the money!

This is the one! Get IT!
By idunno1234 on Feb 13, 2022
This was the best purchase I made for my pup! We needed an awkward height ramp of about 22 inches at least. This was much better than the plastic non adjustable one, we even got another to have one for the bed and couch. They are nice looking, easy to assemble and store if needed. I recommend it to everyone I know and I always get compliments when visitors come. It was easy to train my pup too, as I can tell it makes him feel better.

Great ramp!
By Hairysmom on Dec 2, 2021
Ramps are said to help dachshunds preserve their spines. I wanted one for my dog to use in the den where he watches tv. It seems that many are very expensive and given the nature of their design, they do become a focal point in the room so appearance is important.! This ramp was reasonably priced and well made. It is attractive and adjusts easily to three heights. I like the wheels that can be used for moving it around the room. The sisal - type padding put on the incline to help the animals' grip is attractive. It took one session with some treats for my small dog to figure out this was for his use.
