We bought this for our aging cheweenie so she does not have to try and jump onto the couch anymore. It adjusts to several different heights which helps for not just the couch but other surfaces. It took a little convincing at first, but once she discovered the independence it brought in being able to get up and down at her leisure, she uses it frequently each day. The materials are solid and there was zero assembly required.
Very pleased with this ramp. It's well made, solid & the hinges work smoothly. It also looks contemporary. My 11 lb. Havanese is already using it.
Ordered this for my dog who sustained a leg injury. It’s a sturdy ramp and the different heights are nice. The carpet grips are also great for my little guy. The length is good for getting up and down off the couch but I can’t use it on my bed as the incline would just be too much for my dog.
This ramp works perfectly for our dog with arthritis. It didn't take her long to learn to use it.
The quality of the ramp is very good as it is sturdy and I like that the wood has a dark stain. The issue our dachshunds had was that they couldn’t get traction to go up the flat attached carpet. We ended up buying and cutting wooden pieces and adhesive skid guards then attaching to them to the ramp. Now our four dachshunds are able to walk up and down the ramp without sliding. Before they couldn’t even get up the ramp without sliding backwards. While I’d like to recommend this ramp to others I can’t unless they are able to make adjustments as we did to help our dachshunds get traction to climb it. It cost us close to $30 to make it usable.
I bought this for my cat recovering from knee surgery. Surprisingly she uses it all the time. I thought it would be a major adjustment. She took to it quickly. It’s very sturdy and looks like a small piece of furniture. Well made and no assembly really required you just need to set it up to the correct height.
It is fine but she is very timid and is afraid of it, We are trying to train her to use it but we are having a hard time. We previously bought the stairs and she would have nothing to do with it. She's a dachshund with a long body and short legs. She needs help with the furniture and getting in the car.
Just received it today. I was amazed the good quality of the wood. Throughput for last 10 years trying different stairs and ramp. This one is by far over my expectation. Love the different level adjustment which allow me to find the right level which fit my miniature dachshunds. And the non slip pads are wonderful for little breeds.
I purchased for my cats, specifically my 17 yr old to get up on my bed. At first he did not use and my other boys used and played on it but he is now using it. It is heavy and sturdy. Happy with it.
For my dog, I like the ramp because it is can be adjusted and isn't extremely steep. Also it has carpet pieces that allow for traction. For myself, I like that it looks like a piece of furniture and doesn't look cheap, especially considering the reasonable price. .y main frustration, is that if my dog get a bit too bouncy, the dowels jump out of the adjustment slots and the ramp collapses.
