This litter box has been a total game changer for my high spraying cat. I went through several large litter boxes that just didn’t work, his urine would either go over the sides or leak through the seams where the pieces connected. It was an ongoing mess and incredibly frustrating. I honestly thought I’d end up using a storage bin with a hole cut in the side. I even tried an XXL stainless steel box, but surprisingly, he prefers the Michu and now only uses this one. Since switching, there have been zero accidents and no leaks. The high walls and solid design completely solved the problem. Plus there has been zero odor! It’s definitely worth the price for the peace of mind and not having to clean up messes anymore. If you have a tall cat or a serious high sprayer, I can’t recommend this enough.

Yes, this box is very expensive. However after trying many other boxes this is the best one we have tried. My senior kitty has arthritis and tummy issues and is a larger cat. We’ve had a tough time finding an “accessible” box that didnt also shed litter all over the floor. Enter this mammoth box. The square shape and low entry is really easy for her to navigate, she doesn’t struggle to enter/exit and find a comfortable spot. The high sides keep litter in the box, I just keep a little chenille mat in front to catch strays from her floofy paws. My only suggestion is instead of having the handle on the back, have a handle on both sides for those of us with chicken arms. So in conclusion, you may think you’re just paying for a “pretty” box (which it is, it actually looks very nice and feels good quality) but you are getting your money’s worth of functionality. Thank you Michu!

Maybe boba is an appropos color description, but it did not match the online color. I would say it's like a pale terracotta. The box is more attractive than all the others I've purchased, but she seems to fling even more litter. Not over the high sides, but out through the entrance.

Functionality meets esthetics!

This litter box looks amazing. It’s huge and prevents my cats from making messes spilling litter everywhere on the floor. It comes with a scoop but unfortunately

This litter box looks amazing. It’s huge and prevents my cats from making messes spilling litter everywhere on the floor. It comes with a scoop but unfortunately I’m not a fan of the scoop holder because it does not have a bottom causing the dirty litter that gets sometimes stuck on the scoop to fall on the floor. And that to me it’s pretty gross. So I won’t be using it. But the litter box is excellent!

Big beautiful litter boxes!

We have three of these - orange, sage, boba - and they’re great. Tons of room and high sides so the litter doesn’t spill. Bold colors are nice too.

Best open litter box with high sides!

I have two cats who like to pee higher/standing up and this is the ONLY open litter box that is actually high enough so they can't pee over the side. It's very easy

I have two cats who like to pee higher/standing up and this is the ONLY open litter box that is actually high enough so they can't pee over the side. It's very easy to clean and much nicer on the eyes than traditional boxes. It is quite pricy but I think it was worth it.

Big litter box for big cat!
