I even tried it on my short haired dogs and it did nothing. It did feel like good quality and maybe it would work for a longer haired dog or cat.

my long haired cat and i both love this. she sits with it and asks to be brushed. it’s really helpful with mats and she likes the feeling. if i hold it out she brushes

Got the Michu, day one the best slicker I have ever used; quickly, gently, ran through my full blood manx's werewolf fur. Tangles, knots, minimal resistance and such an overall comfortable experience for Midnight (the cat)... Day 2.. the brush was rough, felt horrible moving over him.. stopped to look it over and the capped pins were bent all to "throw this old brush out" status... Really bummed me out mate, Midnight as well.. I want to write a glowing review, but this is an honest one instead.. sorry
