Good for larger cats

The Michu high edge litter box has become the preferred litter box for my larger cats. My two boy cats, 16lbs and 25lbs, use this as their primary litter box. I will say that my largest cat still manages to get some poop outside of the litter box but less than with other styles of litter boxes. The high edges do keep their little boy cats pees contained within the litter box. There is less litter fall outside of the Michu litter box than other low wall styles. I would recommend the high edge litter box for larger cats.

GREAT for cats that are small to medium who have the habit of standing to pee. Due to the angle of the edges, it drips to the base vs bouncing off and getting onto the cat using it. The walls are high but the bowl that sits in it makes it better for medium to small cats vs larger ones. However, i do not think it is senior kitty friendly. There is no easy entrance so if your kitty has bad joints this litter box will not work without a ramp. Due to how high up the walls are on the inside it may be difficult for cats to use who have arthritis, or other forms of joint detoriation that comes with age. Best recommendation for use of this product is 5-10lb kitties max that are not cats with joint mobility problems. Otherwise, it is well made, has a unique shape. Great for cats who like to tip their litter boxes because this one is made to not tip over.

For that price, there are way better options; you are purely paying for the color and design because the plastic and weight (very light) feel cheap. I fell for "cuteness" value rather than quality. Again, there is nothing wrong with it. If you want a nice look to the litter box with a unique color, this is the one. It is also much bigger than I expected so that can be a plus (20"x20" exterior; 16.5"x16.5" interior; 9" height) This brand's litter is awesome though!!!
