Instructions
Shake Well Before Using. Initial Dosage (heavy build-up) For substrate which has 1/4″ or more of solids build up, apply 2 tsp. (10 mL.) of MICROBE-LIFT/Rock & Substrate Cleaner per 10 gal. (38 L.) of tank water. Use as directed every other week until substrate is clean then follow Substrate Maintenance dosage schedule below. MICROBE-LIFT/Rock & Substrate Cleaner works best when used with MICROBE-LIFT/Bacterial Water Balancer. Substrate Maintenance Dosage For substrate with less than 1/4″ of solids build up, apply 1 tsp. (5 mL.) of MICROBE-LIFT/Rock & Substrate Cleaner per 10 gal. (38 L.) of tank water. Use as directed monthly. If build up exceeds 1/4″ follow Substrate Cleaning initial dosage schedule.

My turtles accessories were getting pretty slimy quite often and I was constantly cleaning them I thought maybe this would help with the algae build up but I didn’t
My turtles accessories were getting pretty slimy quite often and I was constantly cleaning them I thought maybe this would help with the algae build up but I didn’t really see a difference. It did change the water color when I first put it in to a brownish color but quickly went away and didn’t really cut down on the build up on her rock/other accessories. It did keep the water clear longer but I also have a filter and water circulation in her tank.
