How much is used to treat 125 gallon tank?

Answer by ChewyJan 10, 2026
Use at a rate of 1 milliliter per 5 gallons or 5 milliliters per 25 gallons, added daily for 10 days. In severe cases, a longer treatment period may be required until visible results are achieved.

Can this be used in a tank with: snails, shrimp, and live plants?

This water treatment will not harm any snails, shrimp or live plants. Both Herbtana and Artemiss are very efficient when you have to treat your fish.

Microbe Lift makes many good products for your aquarium. This is good to use when adding new fish to an established aquarium (especially if you don't use a quarantine tank) This is also helpful in healing damaged fin tissue. However, it may not work for severe bacterial infections (Dropsy, etc.) which will likely require REAL medication.

Gentle treatment

Pretty much all natural treatment for my blood parrot fish. No need to have a hospital tank, if infection is mild. Smells good, too

They taped the cap to the bottle so the cap wouldn't open during shipping. Unfortunately the type of tape they use does not come off easily, and the bottle was impossible to read after removing the tank. I was able to find the instructions online, but it was quite annoying.
