Is this safe to plants?

Microbe-Lift BMC can be applied to areas that can contain aquatic life, fish and plants.

Can I put this in fresh standing water and it won’t hurt animals that may drink from it?

This liquid treatment is intended for use in decorative water gardens, fountains, and areas with standing water, which become breeding environments for mosquitoes—potentially preventing carriers of the Zika virus from spreading it. It’s non-toxic for use around humans, wildlife, and fish, among others.

How often would I apply?

Application frequency is 7 - 14 days depending on application site. 1 teaspoon treats 540 square feet (total water column). Will disperse evenly in water with no fish toxicity.

Is this safe for birds to consume - drinking from the bird baths?

I have a little "water feature" in my cat's Catio. This year, I had a lot of mosquito larvae sprouting up as the water doesn't have a lot of movement. I use one small drop when I do a water change and there has been zero larvae around since. Plus, and this is the most important - it is perfectly safe for the cats. Although they don't tend to drink this water anyway. Better safe than sorry. Use as directed and adjust dosage to the volume of water you are treating.
