How is the sludge-away different from the Microbe-Lift PL? I have used the PL for years in my golf fish pond, but there is a lot of sludge that settles on the bottom. Should I use both products?

Microbe-Lift PL Pond & Lagoon Bacteria Water Treatment is formulated to maintain the clarity and ammonia nitrogen levels of your pond by dissolving away organic waste and sludge, while Microbe-Lift Sludge Away Pond Water Treatment is specifically formulated to eradicate the sludge at the bottom of a pond. All Microbe-Lift products can be administered together, with the exception of ML/ Algaway products. All Microbe-Lift bacterial & enzymatic products are compatible with one another.

How many gallons does this 32 oz bottle treat

This treatment will treat approximately 3,200 gallons.

Can this be used with a runner liner

This will break down (digest) organic waste that has accumulated at the bottom of your pond. It increases the oxidation rate of Microbe-Lift/PL when used together. It is not important what type of substrate or liner is used in the pond.

Is it safe for use with turtles?

Big improvement!

I have been rehabilitating a very mucky (300gal) goldfish pond that was neglected for over a year. This sludge treatment, in tandem with a small filter, has resulted in a big improvement! The filter may help, but I really started seeing an improvement after starting to dose with this stuff. The water was completely opaque and brown and now I can see the bottom and my fish! I followed the instructions, doing the big initial dose and 4 weeks of a regular dose. Only one week/dose to go and it’s looking great!

This stuff works

I have a pond with fish with a rock pit filter that became filled with sludge. Within a half hour I could actually see that most of the sludge was gone. Good product
