The exact ingredients are considered proprietary to the manufacturer. Special Blend contains a unique consortium of bacteria that break down organic waste, including hard to degrade substances, very efficiently, and biologically reduce nitrates. This results in a cleaner, clearer tank, and improved water quality. Special Blend is safe for all fish, invertebrates, and plants in fresh, brackish, and salt water. In fact, you will typically see better polyp extension from your corals when used regularly.

the smell

The smell of this was crazy horrible but thats to be expected . If it works or not i dont know. I havent seen any nitrate drops yet in my reef tank and my new Algae

The smell of this was crazy horrible but thats to be expected . If it works or not i dont know. I havent seen any nitrate drops yet in my reef tank and my new Algae turf scrubbing is starting to produce small bits of green algae so any NO3 drop will most likely have been the ATS and this. Its been almost a week and havent seen any change with this.

This product really works!!

At first, I was a bit skeptical since I have tried products like this in the past, and only found out that it doesn't work. I can say that this product is amazing

At first, I was a bit skeptical since I have tried products like this in the past, and only found out that it doesn't work. I can say that this product is amazing and I have seen results since purchasing it a little over a month ago. I have a 55-gallon tank with 3 goldfish,( the tank has been running since October 2019), sometimes I have problems with high nitrates and crazy algae growth. Since using this, my nitrates have decreased and are lower than I have ever seen them, there is fewer algae growth and recently noticed that my biological media appears a lot cleaner. There is less gunk in both of my filters. It's easier to clean my canister filter since everything is being broken down. I don't know what bacteria are being used for this product, but good job Microbe - Lift, you definitely have sold me on it to purchase more in the future.

needs more time

The bottle says to treat once a week for 4 weeks to see results. I'm using the exact amount for the tank size and amount of water, but it has not yet started to

The bottle says to treat once a week for 4 weeks to see results. I'm using the exact amount for the tank size and amount of water, but it has not yet started to clear the water. I bought a larger filter pump than recommended for tank size and that helped. I have a 75 gal tank with 2 10 year old red eared sliders.

Been using for 150 gal tank GREAT saved our fish
