It is not required to remove fish when adding this product. The Special Blend is safe for any tank inhabitants as long as the directions are followed.

Got the tank squared away in a day

I had to medicate my entire tank, and killed all of my beneficial bacteria. This microbe lift product got everything back in order very quickly. My tank cleared

So...day one; Yes, the smell is strong. The way people spoke of it, though, I expected way worse. I did sniff the open bottle for science. Yes, it wasn’t a great idea, but I had to know. It’s been about an hour, and I can still smell it a bit in the room. I’ve turned my air supply up and increased the oxygen levels, so I should be good (the bacteria growth consumes a ton of oxygen in the water, apparently). Fingers crossed. Will update in the morning.
