This wire extension can be attached to either or both ends of the Wabbitat Deluxe.

Does this extension work with the 47.2 inch MidWest Wabbitat Deluxe Rabbit Home or only with the 39.5 inch model?

This extension is specifically designed to be attached to the MidWest Wabbitat Deluxe Rabbit Home. It can be used with either size.

Can I put the white shelf in the extension?

extra space

I personally love this extension! It provided enough extra space that I needed. It is easy to attach to the original cage and can be removed easily as well! Nice

Guinea pigs need more room than people think. After my dear sweet Zinnia passed away last month, I adopted 2 girls from the Humane Society. Getting the addition made the cage a good size for the two of them. Relatively simple, but takes a little more time than snap and go.

Cage extension

Great addition to cage

Great addition to guinea pigs cage. Gives so much room if you add (like we did) to both sides. With the wabitat and both extensions makes a 24inch by 80inch footprint

Great addition to guinea pigs cage. Gives so much room if you add (like we did) to both sides. With the wabitat and both extensions makes a 24inch by 80inch footprint. looks great and is super sturdy. Was super easy to assemble. Easy to clean. Keeps our babies nice happy, safe, clean, and dry! No more worries about space-- they have plenty of room to popcorn and get zoomies in their cage. Item came fast from chewy and was competitive priced. If you have two sow guinea pigs and they need more room this extension x2 ( one on each side) and the wabbitat is a great option over those flimsy c&c cages.

Great addition.

I use it for guinea pigs. Added it to cage and cut an entrance in the divider. It works great as a hay mow and feeding area - which for piggies also means bathroom

I use it for guinea pigs. Added it to cage and cut an entrance in the divider. It works great as a hay mow and feeding area - which for piggies also means bathroom. Contains the mess well so I barely have to clean the rest of the cage regularly.

I love everything about EXCEPT the white panel because it can not latch. Why would you not have it be able to fit the cage. The other piece is to long and really belongs it you wanted to separate it. Your better off buying the deluxe version.
