can l exchange this cage ? the top wire and plastic bottom do not fit secure .

Honestly, good question.
I would say good luck trying. I have tried to order this cage 3x and every time my order is cancelled. Online it says they are in stock and people in the back warehouse will also say it is. But then a couple days after processing it's cancelled and I am told there is something wrong with the communication between the online availability and actual availability. So much runaround.
How deep is the bottom pan?

The bottom of the pan measure 5.5 inches deep.
I know there is an extension you can purchase for this cage but is it possible to connect two deluxe cages together?

Although 2 Wabbitat Deluxe Rabbit Homes cannot be combined, extensions are available.
Is the smaller cage a good size for a dwarf bunny?

This habitat is suitable for dwarf rabbits. If you need more room, the Wabbitat Deluxe is expandable with an extension.
