FAQ
Compounding is a way for licensed pharmacists to create a customized medication that meets your pets specific needs. Compounding pharmacists mix or change one or more FDA-approved medications to prepare a special medication for your pet. For example, if a medication is only available in pill form, the pharmacist might create it in liquid, gel, or capsule form.
Your pet may have a specific health need that cannot be addressed by an FDA-approved drug. For example:
- Your pet has trouble taking pills but will take medication in a flavored liquid or other form.
- Your pet needs medication in a strength that is not commercially available.
- Your pet is allergic to a specific ingredient in a medication.
Always talk with your veterinarian about any concerns you have about your pets health so they can prescribe a treatment for your pets unique needs.

She my cat can’t swallow the dimaritn huge pills vet suggests this. Liquid easy to give but she started to foam at the mouth and run away hard to catch her to clean up and gave a little bit of water/treat to make the taste go away. Pretty scarey to see foaming and such a bitter taste for her. Will see if mixing dilute will make better.
not good
Used to be good stuff. Now my baby refuses it and when she takes it it made her nauseous. It smells different than before. We had them exchange it for the same
Used to be good stuff. Now my baby refuses it and when she takes it it made her nauseous. It smells different than before. We had them exchange it for the same flavor (thinking it was a fluke) and changed the flavor even. Nothing worked. Would not recommend.
Difficult to dispense

This comes with no instructions as to how to use the sealed bottle and syringe, you have to poke the plastic syringe tip into the center of the bottle seal and pull back on the syringe with all your might to fill. Poor design, good thing this is a trial to see if it works, because to go through this twice a day is a pain.
