is it waterproof?

While not technically waterproof, the leather collars are hand conditioned with Oakwood leather conditioner just before they are shipped out. While this leather conditioner makes the leather products water resistant, it does not make them waterproof. Mimi Green leather products will hold up great with water droplets, such as rain, but we do not recommend submerging the leather in water.

Real leather and made in the USA!

My dogs and I love this collar. It arrived super fast, and looks great. Knowing it's real leather makes me feel better that it can break away if they are caught on something in the woods or on the farm. Also the real leather doesn't get stinky after the dogs play in the water. a quick saddle soap keeps it conditioned and clean.

Minor nitpicks

Overall fairly nice, but the leather is a bit rigid for extended wear and while the size chart said a medium went up to 13", the last hole was at 12" so we had to poke our own to get it to fit our pet.

Dog collars

The collars are not sized right I’ve got 2 cocker spaniels with a 17” neck size I ordered a small and was about 4” too long had to add more holes and cut collar
