This collar is made well from material that seems like it will hold up over time and be easy to keep clean. The remote is a handy size, and even has a flashlight to help you find your pup in the evenings. The collar can provide noise, vibration, and/or shock with 30 different levels to choose from. I appreciate that the level of correction is so adjustable. The package includes a set of replacement prongs, a wrist strap for the remote, and a small plastic device used to test that the shock is coming through properly. It will be a useful training tool, and would be great for someone working with a dog off-leash who needed immediate corrections for safety.

I’m rating this product one star because of the shock capability. I tried it on my arm on the 10 and 20 settings and it was very painful. I discourage using pain
I’m rating this product one star because of the shock capability. I tried it on my arm on the 10 and 20 settings and it was very painful. I discourage using pain to train a pet. That said, I found everything else about the product very good. My dog barks incessantly when she wants me to play fetch. “No” just wasn’t working. I can say that with it in vibration mode and a 5 setting, I got her attention and she almost immediately stopped this habit. The collar is to put on and easily adjustable and fit my 80 pounder, but could also fit a smaller dog. The instructions were very clear. My one suggestion would be to use a different color on the raised icons on the buttons. The black on black makes them very hard to see. Still, I can’t recommend this product because of the shock mode. Hoping Chewy sells vibration only in the future.

I would give a negative 1 rating if I could. I purchased a 2 dog indoor training system for my SIL for XMas from Mimofpet and it was delivered on Dec 8th, 2025. It was very well wrapped with all kinds of tape so I left it as is and gift wrapped it for Xmas. Well, everyone got the flu and wasn't able to give it to my SIL until Jan 2nd. After opening it, my daughter realized there was only one collar, not 2. So she wrote an email to the company with the order number and did not received a response. She waited a couple of days, wrote another email and no response. She contacted me and I took over. On Jan 12th, I wrote an email explaining the situation and asked when we could get the 2nd collar. By the next day, I had not received a response so I called the customer service number. A non-human said I was second in line, after 30 minutes I became 1st in line and 2 hours later, I will still on hold at which time I hung up. I finally got an email response late in the day on the 14th and they said all discrepancies must be addressed within 7 days of getting the item, their warehouse said 2 collars were sent and they would not send me another one. I explained again that this was during the holiday season, most companies give a grace period after Christmas to deal with issues and that we cannot use the system without the 2nd collar. They replied back 24 hours later and said they will not send me the second collar. JUST WOW!!!! BUYER BEWARE WITH THIS COMPANY. Absolutely zero customer service!

That said, the points felt too sharp for comfort. Even during moments when she was not acting up, they continued to poke at her, which made me uncomfortable using it for longer periods.
Horrible, INHUMANE, and unsafe torture device
This is a horrible, inhumane torture device. I tested it on my arm and wasnt comfortable going higher than the first level of shock. My husband tried it on his arm

My husband tried it on his arm and couldnt tolerate higher than level 10 shock. This shock collar goes up to level 30, which is *so unbelievable* that any shock collar would be made to be that strong and painful *by design*. Level 10 thru 30 is ENTIRELY UNECESSARY AND UNBELIEVABLY CRUEL. And honestly even up to level 10 is unecessary. This shock collar is completely inhumane and its disgusting to think that anyone would use this on any animal, especially the sensitive area of a dog's neck, especially considering that this device is designed to go up to level 30. Its absolutely unbelievable that any company would make such a device for animals with such little regard to the animal's welfare and safety. This device is UNSAFE FOR ANIMALS. Shame on Mimofpet for designing this device to be so torturous. And shame on Chewy.com for promoting pain infliction, harm, and cruelty to animals. DISGUSTING.
Good Product
I bought this to see if I could train my dog to better listen to me. I have a smaller dog. She’s about 20 pounds. I had no intentions of using the shock portion
I bought this to see if I could train my dog to better listen to me. I have a smaller dog. She’s about 20 pounds. I had no intentions of using the shock portion of the collar, but rather the beep and the vibrate. Before putting the collar on her, I tested the beep and the vibrate and the shock on my hand. I did the shock on the lowest level and I thought it was two much for my small dog. But the beep in the vibrate is perfect. The collar was a little big on my small dog. It adjusted to the right size, but the strap was too long that hung out so I had to cut it. Learning to use the collar was very easy and my dog does not like the beep or the vibrate. This is good as it’ll Help to train.

Seems durable. Have had other training collars in the past. This one is rechargeable with is a huuuge plus.

The screen is easy to read, the instructions were clear on how to use the product, it can be programmed to multiple dogs, the collar is easily adjustable to fit a dog, it has many settings that are beneficial in properly training your dog. I highly recommend this

Our dog is 60 or 70 pounds of love and enthusiasm when on leash. Since its very cold and icy here i havent used the Mimofpet X1 more than a couple of times, but he sure is surprised at the vibration. I think this will be the perfect way to redirect him when we're out. He is 6 years old and generally doesnt behave well on leash, add a dog or squirrel and its a nightmare. It may be spring when we get to serious training, but hes smart and eager to learn. I will review again when we've had more experience.
