These treats are safe for cats. Because PureBites uses single ingredients the treats themselves are the same between cat and dog but the only difference is the size of the pieces. They cut their cat treats proportionately smaller to make it safer for them. If you are feeding cat treats to your dog and he is a fast eater, then we suggest monitoring him while he's eating so he doesn't hoover it down but the small size do work great for smaller dog breeds. On the other hand, if you are feeding dog treats to your cat then you would need to break them up as the pieces are going to be a little too big for their small mouths.
