I have three dogs, 12lbs, 20lbs and 22lbs. When I opened the bag of the Minties freshbites all three of my fur babies came running. The minty smell was evident (but

I have three dogs, 12lbs, 20lbs and 22lbs. When I opened the bag of the Minties freshbites all three of my fur babies came running. The minty smell was evident (but not overpowering) as soon as I opened the bag. The best way I can describe the texture of the treats is they are like pieces of 'pool noodles'. Definitely not hard but spongey. About an inch in length. I offered one to my 12lb yorkie. He sniffed it and walked away. Not interested. Then I offered it to my 20lb schitzu mix. She took it to her blanket, licked it a couple times then took a while to chew it. Finally I offered to my 22lb chihuahua mix. She took it, chewed it up right away so I gave her another. The bag said okay for frequent treating. She ate the second one right up. About an hour later, my chihuahua mix vomited up the treats. I would recommend this if your dog eats anything without a problem.

Smelly Breath Be Gone (for a short while, atleast)

These have a very spongy texture and a very strong minty smell, however after a week of regularly receiving this treat, I have not noticed any notable difference

These have a very spongy texture and a very strong minty smell, however after a week of regularly receiving this treat, I have not noticed any notable difference in smelly breath long term. The mint in these DOES help slightly for a bit after consuming, though. Both my dogs do love these treats and have not had any tummy troubles with consuming these.

Unusual texture that was confusing for some

I wanted to really like these but my dogs did not. I tried them on the ones who are not picky and they were very confused at the texture and 2 refused the off smell

Once chewed on, they have a styrofoam type texture that my dogs did not understand. But every dog is different and have different tastes. This just wasn’t it for mine

I previously purchased the Minties bones, and they were too hard for my older dog's teeth, so I bought these as an alternative. I'm bummed they aren't soft, but she seemed to do okay with the first one I gave her. They definitely improved her breath, though.

I give my dogs the Minty dental chews but have to ration them because of calories - I love the freshbites because they are low cal and I can give 5 or 6 a day instead

I give my dogs the Minty dental chews but have to ration them because of calories - I love the freshbites because they are low cal and I can give 5 or 6 a day instead of other treats that don’t clean teeth and freshen breath. They have a really interesting spongy texture that the pups love and that gets them to actually chew rather than just swallow. Great at freshening breath, everything helps, and made in the USA. I’m a fan.

My pup played with this treat the first night I gave it to him and the cat started playing with the treat. The mint smell is super strong so it attracts all my 4

My pup played with this treat the first night I gave it to him and the cat started playing with the treat. The mint smell is super strong so it attracts all my 4 legged critters. They are also an odd styrofoam consistency, which was new to my dog. He did end up loving them starting on day two, and has one after every meal. They really work and we can tell the difference in his breath after a week.
