Seem to work

Dog has to be coaxed i to eating them but he eventually does. Maybe a bit more flavor would make them more appetizing.

My Dog didn't like it.

I thought it was going to be treat like, but it's crumbly and a very large size for my two small dogs.

My Mia just didn’t like them

I gave this a 3 star because it’s not bad but it wasn’t good enough for my Mia to eat. They just didn’t interest her at all

Works well for my Frenchie

My Frenchie likes the taste, and by her looks and slight weight gain - it's working as it should. Thanks!

Picky boy enjoys them

My boy is going thru chemo and had lost some weight. I can't say that these are working yet but they definitely helped increase his appetite.

These are NOT soft chews; in my view, these are hard chewable tablets. My dog took one sniff and refused them, so I cut them into 6 smalled pieces and tried to disguise them in his gravy-coated canned food, but he was NOT having it. At all. I’m leery of cutting these in half and putting them down his throat (the way I feed him his 3 daily compounded prescription capsules), but that’s what we’ll try tomorrow. I’m leery because they really are NOT soft, and when cut, their edges are rough. But I feed him other chewable tablets (his daily cobalequin tablets, which have the same consistency as these weight gain chews) and he tolerates it extremely well. According to the feeding instructions, he should take 6 of these daily, which means the 8oz bag contains a 10-day supply. Each chew is 25 calories, so that’s 150 cal/d, which is fewer calories than supplied by some of the liquid supplements. In summary, my dog doesn’t like the tasted, so I’ll have to “force-feed” him the chews, and they provide fewer calories, at the recommended dosage, than some liquid supplements, but they are also WAY less messy than the liquids.
