I have two Havanese and they absolutely love these treats. I like that there is only one ingredient and in this case, it's lamb, which is good for mine because they have allergies to chicken. The treats are a fairly big size for small dogs (about the size of a quarter) and while it takes them a little longer to eat them, the size isn't a problem. (They love them so much I don't think they would be put off no matter what the size.) These are crunch treats, not soft or chewy. Worth noting that they are freeze dried RAW lamb, so the instructions mention to wash hands and surfaces that touch the treats.

These freeze-dried liver treats are a little different texture from my usual training treats, but after a couple of tastes, my dogs liked them fine. Most of the pieces are larger than what I give to my toy dogs, and I could not break them with my bare hands, so I sliced them into thinner pieces for ease of use. Because they are freeze dried, I don't think the texture will change over time, as opposed to softer treats which often harden up, especially when they are left in the open air. Some of the pieces had a thin paper-like piece attached, which I assume is some sort of membrane. I specifically gave my dog one of these pieces, and he was fine with it. I keep a jar of the Mission Farms Lamb Liver treats near the back door as a treat when they come back in the house.

Received a bag of Mission Farms Lamb Liver treats. On first picking them up, I thought they did not have enough to feed my 12 dogs, but upon opening them, I saw they were freeze-dried and there were many pieces in the bag. The pieces are different sized, so I can feed the littles smaller pieces than I give the bigger ones. As soon as I open the bag, the smell is inviting, and I don't have to call for them to come running. As you can see from the pic, they are anxious for me to put the phone down and start treating! So, I would say that a purchase of Mission Farms should be on your next Chewy order.

Both my dogs like these and will work for them (though that's not exactly saying much given that they will eat almost everything edible). The use of a single ingredient is great for my allergic-to-life dog who can tolerate lamb. I find the freeze dried cubes a bit big and crumbly to use as a regular training treat, however, these do well as a high value reward.

They are larger sized that get her attention and interest easily. The treats are softer texture but firm. I love that they are only made with one ingredient too! My dog loves the taste I would definitely get again!

I gave this product a 3-star only because my dog is very small and these freeze-dried treats are kind of big for him and they are a bit hard for me to cut into a smaller piece. As usual, most new treats become my dog's favorite but after a couple of days he's bored of the new treat. So, unfortunately, this product is not a keeper for us.

I have 3 dogs; they all really liked these treats. However, my dachshund enjoyed them the most. She had to rub her face on it for about 5 minutes before she actually ate it and then she was hooked. These would be really good for hiding in treat puzzles etc. They are very hard, so they had to slow down and crunch on them instead of inhaling them. Not a good treat for dogs with teeth issues because of this.
