My senior chihuahua enjoys eating this raw, freeze-dried salmon and pumpkin as a topper over his food. The reason it is a topper is because he has to gradually transition to new food to prevent a pancreatitis flare-up. Fish is his favorite food. Pumpkin allows his poop to be perfectly formed. As soon as he sees the bag, he immediately sniffs and paws at it. I hope this bag stays fresh for a long time because it is as big as him!

I rated this product 3 stars only because I don’t think it’s a sustainable diet for most large breed dogs. I have 2 large breed (over 60 lb dogs). Based on the directions,

I rated this product 3 stars only because I don’t think it’s a sustainable diet for most large breed dogs. I have 2 large breed (over 60 lb dogs). Based on the directions, I need to breakup and feed them 14 patties and put them in water each day for feeding. There are about 28 patties in a 14 oz bag. This is too much work and packaging for me. However, they are definitely made from natural products and a heathy alternative for dog with food allergies. Also, it may be a good puppy starter food.

I like that it’s 95% meat rather than a bunch of fillers. Any of the crumbly bits at the bottom of the bag will rehydrate, so none is wasted. Definitely a high quality treat that my dog really enjoys

I like the ingredients included in the product. Since I have one medium and two large dogs I fed it to them as a treat instead of a whole meal. I broke the patties into pieces and then added the water as directed. They softened up and my boys really seemed to like them. This wouldn't be a good option for me for everyday use to feed my three dogs because according to the feeding directions it would take 10-12 patties/meal for my larger dogs. They were very difficult for me to break up because of the arthritis in my hands.

Great product with all natural ingredients. It can be a food, a topper or a treat depending on what you want. I love adding toppers and extra ingredients to my dog’s regular kibble so this was prefect. Easy to digest and healthy ingredients. Just crumble a cake into the bowl and add water to make a healthy topper. The cake wasn’t as easy to crumble as I expected but after it soaked up the water it broke down no problems. My dogs gobbled it up with no complaints.
