DIY orthopedic dog bed
By Kate on Jan 16, 2021
At first I filled this sack with old blankets and t-shirts for my senior beagle, Maggie. She instantly took to it, but it made for a very heavy, lumpy bed. I ended up putting one of her older dog beds inside it, and got rid of all the blankets. Then I put it on a dog cot so she was elevated off the cold floor. Sadly, she passed on after 15 years of unconditional love in June 2019. Four months later we adopted our new pup, Ruby Roo. When my husband and I decided to get a thicker memory foam topper for our bed, I took the thinner topper (1.75” thick) and used scissors to cut it down the middle, length-wise. Then I folded it twice and stuffed it in this sack before putting the Molly Mutt cover At first I filled this sack with old blankets and t-shirts for my senior beagle, Maggie. Then I folded it twice and stuffed it in this sack before putting the Molly Mutt cover on. The result was a very thick and squishy orthopedic bed, nice enough for me to lay my head on with my pup. The sack helped compress the memory foam, making it easier to fit in the cover. And it fits perfectly in Ruby’s dog crate! I wish I had thought of this for Maggie. Ruby gave me lots of kisses when I put her newly stuffed mattress in her “house” for the first time. … more

worked perfectly....
By BeastMom on Feb 4, 2021
Purchased Stuff Sack because I could not find a new center insert for my dogs Kong bed. His bed is still in great shape after many years but the center insert was destroyed. Used the Stuff Sack to contain all the loose, messy stuffing! Worked perfectly...As good as new!! Mesh bag is very durable. Also purchased the waterproof liner cover but would not recommend it. My dog did not like, as it made his bed very slippery and unstable to walk or lie on.

No more cheap liners!
By Crickett on Feb 21, 2021
I had two pet beds with poly fill but the cheap paper thin casing fell apart making the bed impossible to wash. I took the poly fil, tore it apart and put it in the molly mutt case, washed it and then put them in the cotton casing that came with the beds. Absolutely worth every penny.

Disappointed
By RayB on Jan 31, 2021
Open mesh bag appears to be easy to tear up if you have a chewer or digger. I have to cover it or my guy would of eaten the cloths I put in there for him.

Great Idea and good quality
By Maggie on Jan 12, 2021
I like the idea of being able to dissemble and wash. Also being able to use old clothes/linens I have on hand is an added benefit. My crew of five have loved this one!

I love these sacks
By Farmerjane on Dec 31, 2020 Top 500 Contributor
Been using the Molly Mutt stuff sacks for a while and I love them. Convenient to have a zipper sack that you can fill yourself or use with a bed, makes washing everything so much easier.

My dog is in heaven.
By Sgris on Dec 30, 2020
The sac is well made and a breeze to fill. I used a crib sheet to cover the medium/large size and it fits perfectly. My dog also loves his new "laundry" bed.

Dog Heaven
By Lise on Oct 20, 2020
My beagle LOVES this, even without the duvet cover which will arrive tomorrow. He didn’t hesitate to sprawl, do a few rolls, and then zonk right out. Later he sat upright on it with a “pride of ownership” pose I haven’t seen before. What a great idea, kind to dogs and our planet!!

Much softer than I expected
By hDxB on Mar 2, 2020 Top 250 Contributor
I bought this since we have 2 giant dogs, 100+lbs, and buying beds for these guys is expensive! One of our big guys has terrible separation anxiety from his former life. He took to this immediately with it partially filled and just passed out! I love that it’s eco friendly, put in clothes, sheets and towels, even pillows you can’t donate to charity instead of sending them to a landfill. The mesh bag is true to its name, huge! and super soft which I was thrilled about! I was expecting a harder, more plastic mesh material but this is very soft but strong. The zipper and seams are high quality also.

Yay, finally a bed that makes sense.
By Fostermom on Apr 3, 2020
Just received this bed a week ago.. Had my husband go through his clothes and stuffed it.. Bought the duvet cover to put over it.. AMAZING !! Best bed I've ever bought, and i bought ALOT! We foster dogs, so we shall see how it holds up to many dogs coming in and out...
