As soon as these treats arrived, my dogs WANTED INSIDE OF THE BOX NOW NOW NOW!!! The dogs could smell the good fresh chicken through the box and the sealed thick zipper bag. I have two Giant dogs. One is an English Mastiff and one is a Dire Wolf Project dog, American Alsatian. Because Giant dogs are notorious for developing bloat -- where they eat too much at one time and their stomach twists and traps whatever air is inside. Honestly, I don't know the technicalities other than what not to do. These treats are 2.5 inches in length. It turns out my girls' mouths are much, much longer than that. If one of them were to try to swallow it to get the other one's (very common with small sized treats) they could get very dangerously harmed. These treats are GOOD but only for small dogs. A dog that can hold a 2.5" roll between its paws and nibble on the end of the roll, is the correct size ... a Scottie maybe

When it comes to a long lasting chew, this is most definitely a winner for one of my dogs, but not the other. While they both love the chicken and rawhide combo, my lab munches this down as fast as she eats pretty much anything but my cavapoo carries it around for a while and chews on it slowly. They both seem to love it very much! I also really like the packaging because it is resealable!
