Horses LOVE these

Best pellets I’ve bought, they dissolve fast which means no added binders and my horses REALLY love them! Arrive fresh and dry. We feed them daily, found them

My older Azteca gelding is borderline metabolic. That said, he cannot have alfalfa pellets or cubes. I needed something to keep him busy while my OTTB ate his large meals. These Timothy pellets are the ticket. They smell amazing and he gobbles them up.

You can smell the freshness

I LOVE Montana Forage! I used standlee for years in the past and struggled to get my horses to eat it. Once being told by my trainer to use Montana, I switched immediately

I LOVE Montana Forage! I used standlee for years in the past and struggled to get my horses to eat it. Once being told by my trainer to use Montana, I switched immediately and all three of my horses are eating it with no problems. I LOVE that there’s no binders and additives. It literally takes 20-30 minutes to soak, no hours like other products. You can smell the freshness when you open the bag, and reading up on when to use Timothy pellets or alfalfa pellets on their website is extremely helpful. I will forever be a customer to not only Chew, but Montana Premium Forage

These soak perfectly

I have an EMS horse that also has teeth issues. She has a really hard time eating even a soft senior type pellet but she also has a hard time when her food has too

I have an EMS horse that also has teeth issues. She has a really hard time eating even a soft senior type pellet but she also has a hard time when her food has too much water. Most hay pellets not only have binders and ingredients you don’t really want. They also take forever to soak to a point of nothing hard. These pellets break apart easy which is why some complain about powder crumbs. These are amazing for horses that cannot chew their food very well. I don’t have to wait very long for them to fully soak and become a soft mush and that’s using regular temp tap water. Most you have to use hot water to cut down on time and still be waiting.

These pellets expand in water much faster than Standlee.

So happy with the breakdown time in warm water. Plus the convenience of having them delivered right to my door. I will definitely be ordering again. My only fear

Good stuff

all my hay loving animals like this. Good quality pellet and cheapest I’ve found in a while. I use it for treats for my goats and hay for my 38 year old horse

Great forage!

These are soft timothy grass pellets. I don’t soak them because they’re so soft and they smell like fresh hay. My horses took about a week to eat them with gusto

These are soft timothy grass pellets. I don’t soak them because they’re so soft and they smell like fresh hay. My horses took about a week to eat them with gusto but now they nicker excitedly for them. At first they were like this is just hay lady and didn’t seem super impressed but they’ve definitely changed their minds. This is good quality hay which NJ is lacking in. I feed them a 3 quart feed scoop twice a day as part of their hay ration. Quality hay is important to me and these pellets are definitely that. Well worth the money.
