Nice bed, Not supportive

I really wanted to love this bed because our dogs love the couch but they older one has trouble getting up. The mattress isn't supportive enough, more like a big

I really wanted to love this bed because our dogs love the couch but they older one has trouble getting up. The mattress isn't supportive enough, more like a big pillow (puffy in the middle), not like the memory foam they're used to. We bought 2, and our dogs prefer the floor :-(
