Will not draw many hums!

Several years ago I thought to upgrade my red plastic with yellow flowers hum feeder. The amethyst feeder seemed the ticket. I purchased two from Chewy. I have used just one to date, the other is still brand new. Bottom line - the hums do not like this feeder in my area of California. They liked the red plastic one well enough, but capacity was lacking and yellow flowers hard to clean. Well, at least I had hummers! A few last year, almost none this year. So I will dump my two fancy feeders, take the loss, and return to the simple feeders that work. Smaller capacity, harder to clean, but will draw the hummers. That's all!

This is certainly a beautiful feeder.

This feeder is well made and easy to fill. It disassembles easily for cleaning. The biggest problem I have is, when the hummingbirds drink all the liquid out of the bottom reservoir, what is in the bottle does not refill the reservoir. Some sort of vacuum is formed that keeps the liquid from draining down. I have to go outside every morning and every evening and tilt the feeder sideways to release air bubbles and refill the bottom reservoir. If we had higher winds here this probably wouldn't be a problem, but most days it's not windy enough to rock the feeder so that it refills itself. I think this is a pretty common problem with a lot of feeders. Seems like someone could invent a feeder that doesn't have this problem.

Love these!

Love these! Purchased my 1st one at a local lowes, but they were less expensive at Chewy! Only issue was that the color seemed to be not as vibrant as my 1st one, although still lovely.

I have used Chewy for a long time. I would never change

My Humming birds loved this feeder right away. It is very well made and easy to clean. Will probably buy another one later.

Love this feeder

This is easier to keep clean then your standard feeder. My old school kind would get moldy. This is such a pretty feeder too. There are many pretty ones to pick from. I liked this one because my birds like to sit. So I wanted one where they could sit and drink. Its so pretty I bought another for my mom's Mother's Day gift The birds use it all the time.

Doesn't last long

This is very pretty and the hummingbirds love it. Unfortunately, it appears to have a shelf life of a couple of months. It leaks out immediately now so I can't use it.

Gorgeous Feeder

Such a beautiful hummingbird feeder! I love that it is made of glass so the colors won't fade in the sun like plastic ones do. I'm already getting hummingbird visitors-- can't wait to see more!

Hummingbird Happiness!

This Hummingbird feeder is gorgeous and functional! Chewy has the best products and prices. I was perplexed that they had a bird feeder, it shipped quickly with my auto shipment ! Love Chewy never disappointed!
