Replacement for identical one that lasted many years

Not squirrel or raccoon proof

I bought this feeder elsewhere but saw the bad review and wanted to add my opinion. This is a great feeder. I use a high-quality fruit, nut and seed blend and the

I bought this feeder elsewhere but saw the bad review and wanted to add my opinion. This is a great feeder. I use a high-quality fruit, nut and seed blend and the different openings accommodate all of it. HOWEVER the squirrels hang off of the perches and eventually they rip off completely, leaving large holes that leak seed constantly. The raccoons pulling the entire feeder off the hook definitely doesn’t help the sturdiness. I wouldn’t call it a design flaw, but said design didn’t consider the impact of other animals

Seeds fall right out, terrible design.

I have a feeder similar to this one, and inside it has little 'awnings' over the openings, and this prevents the seeds from falling right out. THIS model, however,

I have a feeder similar to this one, and inside it has little 'awnings' over the openings, and this prevents the seeds from falling right out. THIS model, however, has no such awnings, making it completely useless. I fill the feeder, and the next day it will be completely empty, and all the seeds are on the ground. Terrible. I do NOT recommend this feeder. In the photo, this model is the one on the left, and as you can see, it is empty. I filled it last night. The model on the right has the internal awnings, and still has plenty of seed, I filled that one last weekend.
