Will this melt in the summer?

Answer by ChewyJul 28, 2025
Morning Song Suet’s have Tallow in it which can melt if it gets hotter than 80 degrees. We recommend bringing them in daily if possible or keeping them under an area that is protected from direct sunlight.

The raccoon loves it

Sometimes it takes a couple of days for the birds to become accustomed to a new food. I have rarely seen any birds feeding on this since putting it out over a week

Sometimes it takes a couple of days for the birds to become accustomed to a new food. I have rarely seen any birds feeding on this since putting it out over a week ago maybe two weeks now. However, it had been being eaten down and my backyard camera showed me the big fan was a nice comfortably sized raccoon who is managing to work it down by himself or herself. Will not be buying it again.

The birds don't seem to like this stuff.

I would not recommend. The birds eat everything but this stuff. I bought quite a bit and now am wondering what to do with it.
